Armin van Buuren again world's best DJ

Armin van Buuren has again been voted the world's best DJ. The 34-year-old Dutchman ranked first on the annual top 100 of the UK music magazine DJ Mag. It is the fourth time in a row he has claimed the title.

Each year DJ Mag holds an election among its readership, and a Top 100 is drawn up based on readers' entries. French DJ David Guetta came second, pushing Dutch DJ Tiësto down to third place.

His fourth title makes Armin van Buuren the absolute record holder. Moreover it's Armin's second world title this year. He was proclaimed 'Best Global DJ' at the International Dance Music Awards 2010.

In addition to being the world's best DJ Armin van Buuren is also the one of the most widely known DJs. The Dutchman even had a Wii game named for him: . Just as in the famous DJ's career, the player has to start out as a total unknown. The objective is to eventually perform as the main act on a major event. The game is also an extensive Armin van Buuren music show.

For the past ten years, the Dutch DJ has also presented his own radio show: . The two-hour show is broadcast in more than 30 countries.
