DEURNE - The Apple iPhone has been on sale in the Netherlands via GSMtrack since Wednesday. This is months earlier than the new mobile telephone will be officially for sale in the Netherlands.

The advanced cell phone has been on sale in the US since June and can only be used in the Netherlands after modifications for the European telephone network. Dennis Boerekamps, manager of the Branbant web shop, managed to buy a whole consignment of iPhones and is selling them in his web shop at EUR 189 along with a subscription. Boerkamps delivers from stock. "If I sell 100 phones, then I still have got stock."

Eighteen months ago GMStrack was also in the news when it gave away a car with a telephone subscription.
