Amsterdam launches all-inclusive public transport ticket

AMSTERDAM - The Dutch capital Amsterdam and the surrounding region are starting a three-month trial with a single ticket for all public transport.

The ticket will include a round-trip by train between Schiphol airport and Amsterdam and a fare for all city transport by tram, bus and metro. The ticket can be valid for one or more days.

It is specially intended for foreign tourists and can only be purchased at Schiphol airport's tourist information office.
