The legal brothels in Amsterdam have agreed to take action against people trafficking and other abuse.

Amsterdam sector organisation SOR on Wednesday announced its members reached agreement on a code of conduct. SOR represents about 60 percent of the dutch capital’s brothels.

The brothel keepers stated their intent to work closely together with the police, the public prosecutor’s office to eradicate people trafficking, forced prostitution and other illegal activities.

Prostitution window owners pledged to file a report with the police as soon as they suspect one or more of their tenants of being engaged in illegal activity.
