Amsterdam Coptic church under surveillance
The Coptic church in Amsterdam is under visible surveillance to prevent terrorist violence during two Christmas church services.
The Amsterdam church is one of three Dutch Coptic churches on a list published by the al-Qaeda terror network. Along with police officers, a dog unit from a private security firm will be present, and the street behind the church has been closed to cars.
A member of the Coptic community said that many people were present at the service: "Many people have come, and you are not afraid if you are a believer. And we are used to it, because we are from Egypt."
