Multinational insurance company Aegon says it is restructuring its activities in the Netherlands and 300 jobs will go.

The cost cutting programme was first announced in May. The company says it needs to “position itself better to take advantage of changing market conditions”.

The aim is to reduce costs by 100 million euros. The restructuring process itself will cost around 60 million euros.
