Parents of children involved in alleged child abuse by Robert M may follow court proceedings in a location outside of the Amsterdam-Osdorp courthouse. Richard Korver, lawyer for the several dozen parents involved in the case, announced the move on Thursday.

According to Mr. Korver, not all parents are able to confront the suspect. To ease this stress, a video link between the courtroom and an undisclosed location will broadcast the trial’s developments.

A pre-trial review of the case against suspected abuser Robert M 27 and his husband Richard O 38 is scheduled to begin Thursday.

Robert M is the prime suspect in the case which includes charges of abusing underage children and the possession and distribution of child pornography. According to the court, Richard O played a willing part in the child abuse.

Krover, along with defence lawyer Mark Winius, will be present in the court. It is unclear whether any parents will be present in either the courtroom or the undisclosed location.
