AZ racks up another win

Playing away on Saturday, Alkmaar's Premier League leaders AZ scored a decisive 2-0 victory over Heracles' Almelo. Forward El Hamdaoui scored both goals.

THE NETHERLANDS - In other Saturday games, SC Heerenveen claimed a 3-1 home victory over Tilburg's Willem 2. Paulo Henrique and Kristian Bak Nielsen scored two of the winning goals in the first half, while Roy Beerens added the third in the second.

Substitute Mohamed Missoudi reclaimed a sliver of honour for Willem 2 by scoring his team's single goal, also in the second half.

Elsewhere, playing at home, ADO Den Haag drew 1-1 with NAC Breda. Breda's Nourdin Boukhari and ADO substitute Ricky Hoogendorp scored.

FC Groningen lost 1-0 at home to PSV when Danko Lazovic made the winning goal with a header.
