ADO The Hague is through to the third qualifying round of the Europa League. The squad trained by Maurice Steijn won 2-0 at home in their return match against FK Tauras on Thursday evening. The Dutch team beat Tauras 3-2 last week in Lithuania.

The fans that crowded into ADO’s Kyocera Stadium in The Hague for the first European-level football to be played in the city for 24 years witnessed a less than thrilling game. Despite the convincing score, the Dutch team’s performance was less memorable than had been hoped.

ADO will play Omonia Nicosia in Cypress next Thursday. The return match will be in The Hague on 4 August.
