3 November 2003 , AMSTERDAM — Coming on top of the fifth worst peak-hour traffic jams in history, police sealed off one side of the A10 West ring road on Monday afternoon after a multiple vehicle collision.

AMSTERDAM — Coming on top of the fifth worst peak-hour traffic jams in history, police sealed off one side of the A10 West ring road on Monday afternoon after a multiple vehicle collision.

About 10 cars were involved in the collision and two lanes of the three-lane ring road were closed. Emergency service crews were reportedly trying to free people from their cars, but police did not immediately confirm any fatalities.
