36 scouts in hospital with poisoning

2 July 2007, LIEGE – 36 young Dutch scouts at a campground in Fraipont have contracted food poisoning after drinking spring water at the camp. They were brought to hospital early Monday morning. They are in stable condition.

LIEGE – 36 young Dutch scouts at a campground in Fraipont have contracted food poisoning after drinking spring water at the camp. They were brought to hospital early Monday morning. They are in stable condition.

The children drank spring water offered to them by the owner of the campground on Sunday. They became ill and were brought to hospital at about 5.30 am. All ambulances in the area were deployed to take the children to different hospitals. The children are part of a group of 85 Dutch scouts on a trip to Belgium.
