AMSTERDAM (AP) - A truck collided with a school bus in southern Netherlands Wednesday, injuring 15 children whose parents are NATO troops, Dutch media reported.

The children's parents work at the NATO base in Brunssum, Dutch NOS news reported. Their nationalities are American, German and British.

One of the children was seriously injured, the report said.

An Associated Press photographer on the scene said the accident took place in Jabeek, near the German border. The truck could be seen on its side, and the bus was badly damaged in its midsection.

Police could not be immediately reached for comment.

Dutch media did not specify the nationality of the child that was badly injured. NOS reported that a medical helicopter evacuated the child.
