A collision between two tramways in The Hague on Wednesday left 12 people injured, HTM transportation company said.

"One of the two tramways caught up with the other on a long straight stretch and smashed into it," HTM spokesman Harald Hameleers told AFP.

Four of the injured were taken to hospital including one of the drivers.
