14 June 2007, AMSTERDAM – The police arrested 12 people after a massive fight on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam last night. More than 100 people were involved in the fighting. At least six people were injured, the police reported today.

AMSTERDAM – The police arrested 12 people after a massive fight on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam last night. More than 100 people were involved in the fighting. At least six people were injured, the police reported today.

A fight broke out between two groups of people in a nightclub after an argument between a man and a woman. When the bouncers expelled the troublemakers, the fighting continued outside on the square.

More than 100 people joined in the mayhem, striking each other as well as police. The police set two dogs on the crowd and used their truncheons in an attempt to break up the fighting.

Three women and nine men aged 16 to 23 were arrested. Two people were injured during the fighting, four suffered bite wounds from a police dog.
