It’s a nice place to hang around.
What do you think of the food?
It is ok, if you cook it yourself! :o)
Vegetables, fruit and meat, if you buy them in the supermarket, are of poor quality.
What do you think of the shopping in the Netherlands?
Nothing special. But it's a good idea to have the Thursday night shopping
What do you appreciate about living in the Netherlands?
That it is a quiet, easygoing, summer-style place in the north of Europe. And it's easy to go anywhere with your bike.
What do you find most frustrating about living in the Netherlands?
I think companies’ customer service is not good.
What puzzles you about the Netherlands and what do you miss since you’ve moved here?
I miss the sun. Nothing puzzles me anymore. :o)
How does the quality of life in the Netherlands compare to the quality of life in other countries that you’ve lived in?
I think the quality of life is very good: professionally it is a good place to develop; everything is easily reachable. Life is good in the Netherlands!
If you could change anything about the Netherlands, what would it be?
The rain and the clouds.
What advice would you give to a newcomer?
Lock up your bike well!
