Public holidays in the Netherlands Our listing of public holidays (Nationale feestdagen) in the Netherlands for 2011/ 2012.

There are a few regional variations with carnavalen celebrated in February and March in Catholic areas. For all Dutch citizens, Queen's Day is the big one.

Had such an amazing experience last year; loved the flower market and the red light district.
