This 10-week workshop focuses on how to establish and/or maintain a writing practice that generates material. As it mostly involves "doing it", putting pen to paper each session, the workshop is equally useful for advanced writers with works-in-progress, as well as beginning writers. Through writing exercises of varying lengths, participants will create new material each session then share their work with the group (if so inclined) for brief comments and support. Thus a body of work will be developed over the whole period. Time will be allocated for manuscript reviews, which explore different methodologies for shaping and refining existing work. This combination of writing and rewriting for all participants will lay the foundation for a reliable, ongoing writing practice. Facilitator is Matthew Curlewis. Note there are no classes on 29 April.
