Regular visitors to the Netherlands, the Prazák Quartet was founded in 1972 by graduates of the Prague Conservatory and consistently perform near perfect, compelling concerts. Playing largely from memory, the dedicated virtuoso musicians embody the unique Czech quartet tradition. Tonight’s chamber music repertoire features J Haydn's String Quartet in D, Froschquartett, Feld's Quintet for Saxophone and String Quartet, and Beethoven's String Quartet in F. Featured guest is Raaf Hekkema on saxophone.
