Donor goes back on promise to pay for 1,800 entry tickets to Proud of the Netherlands party’s official opening ceremony.

THE NETHERLANDS – Leader of Proud of the Netherlands party, Rita Verdonk, has been cheated out of EUR 135,000.
An apparent donor had promised to pay for all 1,800 entry tickets to the official introduction of her new Proud of the Netherlands party. The event was held in April in the Amsterdam Passenger Terminal.
However, the supposed benefactor is now refusing to hand over the money. This means that the party must pay for the tickets out of its own funds.
