Expatica's Second Annual Welcome to the Netherlands Fair a success
For the second year running, thousands of expats from all over the Netherlands streamed into the Beurs van Berlage in central Amsterdam for Expatica's 2005 Welcome to the Netherlands Fair. After the success of the inaugural fair in 2004, the biggest fair for expats in Holland was again a very popular event. Attendees once again found everything in one place to make the most of life in the Netherlands - all in one day.
Over 85 exhibitors ranging from healthcare providers, language schools, recruitment agencies, schools and universities, financial institutions, expat publications, social groups and sporting clubs were on hand to give advice and information.
The fair was again complemented by an entertainment programme, with an interesting take on Dutch life from the perspective of both a comedy duo and an intercultural expert plus impromptu public speaking demonstrations.
