Most Long Stay Visa holders in Thailand can no longer take advantage of the expedited visa renewal process via the One Stop Service Center in Bangkok if they file their Thailand personal income tax returns directly rather than have their taxes withheld through their Thai employers payroll system. These individuals must submit their renewal applications using the standard process, which is much more cumbersome and time consuming then the expedited process.
