Maltas Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment, announced certain direct and indirect tax measures, including initiatives aimed at curbing tax evasion and promoting environmental protection on 25 October 2010. Income Tax Measures Income Tax Rates and Bands -- The existing income tax rates and bands were left unchanged. The 2011 which also apply in 2010 individual tax rates and thresholds are shown in the tables below and on the following page.
