Canadas facilitated processing program, which exempts employers from the labor market opinion requirement for seven types of IT occupations, has been extended until further notice for employers in Quebec.Employers in Quebec will continue to benefit from a labor market opinion exemption for seven types of information technology IT occupations, as Canada is extending the facilitated processing program for the province beyond March 31, 2011 until further notice. As previously reported, the IT program was recently extended to September 30, 2011 in British Columbia.
