Why did you move France?

Oliver Broad is looking for people to talk to about their reasons for moving abroad.

I am currently studying engineering in the first year of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes and I have been assigned a personal task as part of my course in languages. Every student in the year has one only since I am already bilingual the English teacher has let me choose my own course of action that I was hoping you might be able to help me with. Indeed, my parents came to France before I was even born and I have always wondered why, therefore I have decided to look into the reasons that push English natives to come over to here.

My work will consist mainly of interviews, more like informal discussions than rigid questionnaires is what I would like to achieve, followed by a short analysis of what I "discover" (if indeed I do discover anything.......).
This work is part of my evaluation in languages and I shall have to present it to my teacher certainly using a power point document of what I found relevant, interesting, strange, fun...etc

If you feel like lending a hand please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to free myself at the most convenient time for you...

It would have been helpful to include windows of dates that people could help him. I am just reading this for the first time in Jan - two months later. Does Mr. Broad still need help? I am not that invested in it to bother to find out, just sayin'.
