Expatica kicked off its first Welcome to France fair on Sunday in Paris. If you weren't able to make it, here's a taste of what you missed.

Around 2,500 people came to the first Welcome Fair in France

Around 2,500 expats attended Expatica's first ever Welcome to France Fair at the Carrousel du Louvre exhibition space in central Paris on Sunday.

More than 50 exhibitors who cater to the international community in France hosted booths, everything from banks to churches to relocation companies to clubs and language schools.

The goal was both to distribute information about services specifically tailored to expats and let you meet real people who can answer your questions.

There was also a full-day's programme of seminars on topics pertaining to expats of both the short-term and for-the-long-haul variety.
