PARIS, April 18, 2006 (AFP) - Two French nationals — a 75-year-old woman and a man in his forties — were among the nine people killed in a Palestinian suicide attack in Tel Aviv, the French foreign ministry said Tuesday.

Both had dual French-Israeli nationality, the ministry said, adding that the woman — named earlier by Israeli military radio as Marcelle Cohen — was a French resident who had been vacationing in the country.

The ministry did not confirm the victims' identities.

A third French national, a woman in her twenties, was injured in Monday's bomb attack at a crowded Tel Aviv food stand, carried out by a suicide militant from the radical Islamic Jihad faction, the ministry said.

Israeli radio named two other victims of Monday's blast as Romanian nationals Rosalia Basanya and Boda Proshka, who had been working in Israel.
