AMIENS, France, April 13 (AFP) - Four people were killed Wednesday when a tourist plane crashed in northern France near the Belgian border, police said.

Everyone on board died when the plane went down around 4:30 pm local time (14:30 GMT), police said. The victims were not yet identified.

The four-seater Robin DR400 aircraft crashed into a field without causing any damage to homes in the area, and a farmer who saw the plane "fall like a stone" alerted the authorities, police said.
