Strauss-Kahn pleads not guilty to sex charges
Fallen IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of sexually assaulting a chambermaid in his luxury hotel last month.
Wearing a dark blue suit, the former head of the International Monetary Fund stood with his hands clasped as he faced the judge in the New York Supreme Court.
Asked how he pleaded, Strauss-Kahn replied: "Not guilty."
Judge Michael Obus set the next court hearing in the case for July 18 and Strauss-Kahn, who had been accompanied by his wife, Anne Sinclair, left the New York court building, getting into a waiting car.
