SINGAPORE, Feb 3 (AFP) - One of France's most famous cabaret shows, Crazy Horse Paris, may be coming to Singapore as tourism authorities try to liven up the city-state's entertainment scene, the Business Times reported Tuesday.

Described as 'Art of the Nude' on the show's website, Crazy Horse Paris features attractive women dancing to "highlight the beauty of their bodies and their movements" with the performances accompanied by subtle lighting effects.

Crazy Horse Paris, along with the Bal Du Moulin Rouge and the Lido de Paris, are the three most well known cabaret shows in Paris.

Singapore would stage a global coup if it does succeed in bringing the show here because it has never been shown outside of France, the Business Times said.

The unsourced report said talks between the Singapore Tourism Board and the show's management to bring the dancers here were at a "sensitive stage."

It quoted a local hotelier as stressing there was "nothing lewd" about the show and another as describing it as "very tasteful".

The Singapore Tourism Board did not respond directly to an AFP query on the report, saying only it "is always seeking out new and exciting products and services to enhance Singapore's tourism landscape."

Singapore has mounted an aggressive campaign to woo visitors to the tiny Southeast Asian nation, with the tourism board aiming to draw at least 7.6 million tourists this year, which would be a 24 percent jump from 2003.
