Several G20 nations welcome Greece aid package
South Korea, Canada, the United States, Britain and France on Monday jointly welcomed a 110-billion-euro pot of eurozone and IMF funds to save Athens from a debt default.
"We welcome the strong economic program Greece is putting in place with the financial assistance of the member states of the eurozone and the IMF," past, current and future G20 chairs said in a statement issued by Canada.
The vast eurozone bailout and the International Monetary Funds' expedited financing for Greece "will help restore financial stability in Greece and promote market confidence."
"The program merits the support of the international community," they said.
