PARIS, Sept 16 (AFP) - French Finance Minister Nicolas Sarkozy is to hold a meeting next week with the chief executive of Nestle Waters France, after the company said it was considering selling the iconic mineral water Perrier, the ministry said Thursday.

Sarkozy will meet chief executive Richard Girardot and the director of human resources next Tuesday "to specify the conditions for maintaining and developing the activities of Nestle waters in France," a statement said.

Nestle Waters, a subsidiary of Swiss food giant Nestle, said Wednesday it might sell Perrier while keeping other options open, including a mooted outsourcing.
