Russian scientist working for the European Organisation for Nuclear Research was killed in a road accident in France

   LYON, France, Feb 5, 2008  - A Russian scientist working for the
European Organisation for Nuclear Research was killed in a road accident in
France and two other Russians were injured, police said Monday.
   The group's car careened off the road Sunday in the eastern Ain region,
near the Swiss border.
   One of the CERN laboratory scientists, aged 50, was hurled from the car and
died shortly after from his injuries.
   The driver and another passenger who suffered serious injuries were flown
by helicopter to a hospital in Geneva.
   The fourth passenger was unhurt.
   The Russians' identity was not given but they all live in the Ain region.
