PARIS, June 8 (AFP) - A strike by employees protesting working conditions will cause "slight disruptions" on the Paris metro network Thursday, the RATP authority running the system said.

PARIS, June 8 (AFP) - A strike by employees protesting working conditions will cause "slight disruptions" on the Paris metro network Thursday, the RATP authority running the system said.  

The union behind the stoppage, CGT-Metro, said the strike was called in opposition to extra train services being organised without additional staff hires. It was to last from 4:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
