Paris flights cancelled as snow to return
Around 15 percent of flights at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport are to be cancelled on Wednesday evening and 25 percent on Thursday as the return of heavy snow is expected to renew travel chaos.
Civil aviation authority DGAC said in a statement that snow predicted to fall as early as Wednesday afternoon "will disrupt air traffic at Paris region airports."
Flight cancellations at Paris' main airport Charles de Gaulle are expected from 1700 GMT on Wednesday, the DGAC said.
Heavy snowfall hit Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports on Sunday and Monday, with thousands of passengers forced to spend a night or two in the terminals.
