Paris airports operator sees to merger with Amsterdam
There is no immediate prospect of a merger between the operator of the Paris airports and its counterpart, Schiphol, in Amsterdam, the head of Aeroports de Paris said on Wednesday.
ADP chief executive Pierre Graff said "the two ... are not married but tied-up because we are linked by a cooperation accord and a cross-shareholding of eight percent."
"However, I do not see how that could happen in the short-term," Graff told a parliamentary committee.
"I do not think the (Dutch) government wants to go further because they want to keep control over (Amsterdam) airport and exactly like us, the government must remain the majority shareholder," he added.
ADP signed the cooperation accord with Schiphol in late 2008.
