ANNECY, France, Aug 10 (AFP) - A Norwegian paraglider died Tuesday after falling 200 metres (660 feet) when his wing and its rigging apparently failed, police at Talloires in eastern France said.

The man, aged 27, whose identity has not been disclosed, fell into a private garden not far from the landing area. Police said he had not hit any obstacle, which suggested his equipment was in bad condition.
