Man torches himself at Slovakian Paris embassy

PARIS, Sept 26 (AFP) - A 46 year-old man was being treated for severe burns Sunday after setting fire to himself inside the Slovakian embassy in Paris, emergency workers said.

PARIS, Sept 26 (AFP) - A 46 year-old man was being treated for severe burns Sunday after setting fire to himself inside the Slovakian embassy in Paris, emergency workers said.  

The Slovakian national, who had been admitted to the embassy after asking to speak to a diplomat, unexpectedly doused himself with petrol and set it alight.  

Emergency services were treating him at the embassy, which is in the affluent 16th arrondissement of the French capital.
