PARIS, March 1 (AFP) - French rocker Johnny Hallyday is to launch his own bi-monthly magazine which will go on sale in kiosks here next week, his company Limited Access said Tuesday.

Until now Hallyday's official fan-club, which is independent from Universal Music with which the French star is in dispute, had edited a fanzine just for members.

Hallyday will be editor-in-chief of the 56-page "Limited Access" which will provide exclusive news about the singer as well as feature interviews with other musicians.

The magazine will publish some 50,000 copies and sell for EUR 7.90 (USD 10.4).

Remy Bouet, journalist and author of two Hallyday biographies, will be news editor and in charge of the fan-club, while the star's wife Laeticia will write columns on trends and cooking.
