IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn will plead not guilty to all charges against him after he was accused of sexual assault and attempted rape, his lawyer announced.

"He will plead not guilty," Washington lawyer William Taylor told AFP.

When asked if Strauss-Kahn planned to deny everything, the lawyer said: "Yes, he does."

Taylor declined to make any further comment.
