US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Friday that the G7 countries are unlikely to announce any dramatic moves to intervene in markets during their two-day meeting in Marseille, France.

"You're going to see governments everywhere, and central banks everywhere, recalibrate and decide where they have room to look for things that they can do to help strengthen growth... But I don't think you should expect from this meeting any dramatic change in signals," Geithner told Bloomberg Television.

Asked if there would likely be any concerted action from G7 finance ministers and central bankers, meeting on the severe economic problems hitting the world's most advanced economies, Geithner said: "Not at this meeting, I don't think you're going to see that."
