French President Francois Hollande arrived in New Delhi in the early hours of Thursday for a two-day state visit to India set to be dominated by trade issues.

Five ministers and a delegation of business leaders are accompanying Hollande on his first trip to Asia since taking office in May, with discussions to include a $12-billion (9.6-billion-euro) deal for Rafale fighter jets and plans for a nuclear power station.
