French plane on Libya mission makes emergency landing in Malta
A French military plane made an emergency landing in Malta on Sunday afternoon after aborting a Libyan operation because of strong winds.
Civil aviation authorities told AFP the French Navy Dassault Super Etendard bomber was unarmed and used for reconnaissance.
It is the seventh French plane to make an emergency landing in Malta since trouble started in Libya.
