LYON, France, Nov 2 (AFP) - A cemetery in the Burgundy village of Genlis was defaced with Nazi and anti-Semitic slogans overnight - the third such incident in France in recent days, police said Tuesday.

Swastikas, SS signs and the words "Death to the Jews" were sprayed on around 30 tombstones, even though the cemetery contains no obviously Jewish graves.

On Saturday vandals desecrated some 30 Catholic graves in a cemetery in the central French city of Limoges, and the day before some 100 Jewish graves in a cemetery near Strasbourg were daubed with anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi slogans.
