France’s PinkTV plugs into Belgium

PARIS, Jan 27 (AFP) - A French gay television station, PinkTV, is going to extend its broadcasts into Belgium starting February 14, Valentine's Day, the channel said in a statement Thursday.

PARIS, Jan 27 (AFP) - A French gay television station, PinkTV, is going to extend its broadcasts into Belgium starting February 14, Valentine's Day, the channel said in a statement Thursday.

The station's programmes - which include homosexual porn, sports covered by a transsexual and a daily diet of the US TV series "Wonder Woman" - will be available on cable to the 140,000 subscribers of the BeTV network in Belgium, it said.

PinkTV became France's first gay television station when it started operations at the end of October last year.
