Foreign TV journalist shot during clashes in Bangkok

A foreign journalist with the France 24 television channel was shot in the leg Friday during clashes between troops and protesters in the Thai capital, the network said.

"He was hit in the leg while he was covering the clashes near the Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Shots were fired," said Cyril Payen, another correspondent with the channel in Bangkok. "He was taken to hospital."
