Officials from Serbian club Partizan Belgrade on Thursday visited the grave of Brice Taton, a fan of Europe League rivals Toulouse who was killed by hooligans in the Serbian capital.

TOULOUSE - Taton died 12 days after being attacked in a Belgrade bar ahead of the Europa League match between the clubs on September 17, an incident which sparked outrage in France.

Serbian authorities later arrested 11 people in connection with the attack.

Two deputy chairmen of Partizan laid a wreath bearing the words "FC Partizan" at Taton's grave in the cemetery in Cazeres, some 50km (35 miles) south of Toulouse, the French club told AFP.

Partizan decided not to send any fans to the return match on Thursday night but French local authorities have mobilised some 400 police just in case of crowd trouble.

Toulouse are still hoping to qualify from their group whereas their rivals are already out after four defeats in as many games.
