PARIS, Dec 15 (AFP) - Thick winter fog caused flight delays for the third day in a row at the two main airport serving Paris, the company operating the facilities said Wednesday.

Many flights had their take-off times at Charles de Gaulle airport put back by more than an hour because of the weather, which limited visibility.

Arrivals were delayed by an average of 45 minutes, though some touched down much later. A China Southern flight arrived five hours late after being rerouted to Amsterdam.

The Aeroports de Paris company said most planes had to have their wings de-iced, which added around 15 minutes to their time on the ground.

At Orly airport, delays were around 30 minutes, including several for long-distance flights whose schedules were still feeling the effects of the previous days' disruptions.
