Flash floods kill 19 in southern France: officials
Nineteen people have died in southern France after torrential rains triggered flash floods, officials said Wednesday in an updated death toll.
Several more people were missing after the overnight storm.
Nearly 2,000 rescue workers rushed to help hundreds of people trapped in their cars, houses or on rooftops in the Draguignan area near the Mediterranean coast, while helicopters were sent to airlift residents to safety.
