'Diving Bell and Butterfly' wins best foreign film Globe

Acclaimed French film about a stroke victim who dictates his memoir via blinks of an eyelid, won the best foreign-language movie prize

   BEVERLY HILLS, California, January 13, 2008 - Acclaimed French film "The
Diving Bell and the Butterfly" about a stroke victim who dictates his memoir
via blinks of an eyelid, won the best foreign-language movie prize at the
Golden Globes here Sunday.
   The film, an adaptation of late journalist Jean-Dominique Bauby's moving
1997 book, was directed by New York-based film-maker Julian Schnabel.
   It beat out competition from Romania's "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days," "The
Kite Runner," Taiwan's "Lust Caution" and another French entrant, "Persepolis."
