PARIS, Dec 8 (AFP) - A two-day strike by French flight attendants starting Thursday may cause some flight delays but no cancellations for Air France, the airline and airport officials said.

"Right now, we are not forecasting any flight cancellations. All our passengers will be transported," an Air France spokesman said.

An airport official said "there are no Air France cancellations expected but there will be maybe some delays."

Around half the country's 19,000 flight attendants are expected to strike Thursday and Friday to protest EU plans that would see responsibility for cabin crew safety training shifted from the state to individual airlines, unions said.

The deputy head of the Unac union, Franc Mikula, said he expected Air France to group passengers on short- and mid-range flights on bigger planes.

Corsair, a smaller airline mainly serving Mediterranean destinations, said it did not expect any cancellations either.
